Classes meet once a week for an hour for six consecutive weeks. You are registering for a particular day and hour when you sign up. Should life get in the way and you miss a class, you will work with your instructor and the office staff to find a suitable make-up class.
The first week is for humans only; please leave your puppy at home until the second week.
For puppies under 5 months of age when class begins. (Please note that this age range is flexible, depending on the puppy's size, confidence level, mental maturity, etc. If you are uncertain as to whether or not this is the best class for your puppy, contact us.)
This class covers proper puppy socialization & obedience geared for young pups with short attention spans. Puppies are partnered up for play time based on size, personality and confidence level. The obedience portion of this class includes walking on leash, sit & down, sit for greeting & come. Class also covers housebreaking, chewing & other behavior problems, as well as, nail trimming, teeth brushing & general grooming.
While the entire family is encouraged to attend all of the classes with your dog, young children and/or children with short attention spans may find the discussion and demonstration format of the class difficult to sit quietly.
We sometimes offer classes that meet for an hour and fifteen minutes each class for FIVE weeks instead of an hour for six weeks. These are listed under Crash Course Classes
